Desinger nail lacquer?

Is designer nail polish actually worth it ?is it a big difference from professional nail polish cuz i like zoya and o.p.i, but wondering if its worth the splurge?Desinger nail lacquer?
The really cheap polishes chip a lot easier.

I like o.p.i. too.

You could try a cheaper polish and if you are happy with the results - there you go.Desinger nail lacquer?
I know there is a difference from say drugstore brands compared to o.p.i and esse for example but I don't think the difference between designer and pro would be that much of a difference - at that point, it's in the name. You could try buying a bottle on clearance sometime to see for yourself if it is worth it - like last chance or promos that these designer webs sites or stores might have. Esse is a great polish - never chips, fades, etc. and even Victoria Secret polish is good and reasonably priced. OPI was never that great to me - And I think almost more important than the polish is the base coat and top coat that you use - Poshe makes excellent base and top coats and cuticle oils also. These really keep the polish from chipping. fading, and peeling - manicures and pedicures look fresh for over a month if you can wait that long to change colors. :o)
O.P.I is worth the $ for people who likes to do their nails.

It will not be scratched and fade off easily.

But if you're just doing it for fun and not painting your nails regularly, then don't go for designer nail polish.
I think that it's just the same as any other brand. All you're paying for is the name.
I love o.p.i because with the cheap polish i have to apply more coats...and sometimes it does not have that luster that the more expensive polishes have.
